The Position
As a Graduate IT Desktop Support Analyst you will work in a NOC team to:
- First line support for internal technical issues
- Maintenance of workstations and servers
- Automation of processes using PowerShell
- Usage and implanting of virtual environments
- Maintenance and support of office IT infrastructure
- Administration of hosted services and databases
- Manage the virtual desktop environments
You will be given early responsibility for discrete projects.

- Microsoft software and operating systems: Windows server 2016, PowerShell, Hyper-V, Active Directory, SCCM, MDT, SQL Server

Training
Acturis believes that a mix of internal and external training allows colleagues to develop rounded skills:
- New joiners receive concentrated initial training and close mentoring
- Colleagues are encouraged to complete industry standard training in relevant topics
- More senior colleagues can choose courses with time set aside and the course paid for
- The Acturis management team run training sessions to pass on experience and best practice
About You
The successful candidates will have following attributes:
- Graduated with a 2:1 or above in a technical subject and good A-levels or equivalent
- Keen to embark on a career in IT and passion for technology
- First-rate problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Client focused with an ability to build relationships with customers
- Logical, well organised and practical
- Confident and eager to take responsibility
- Computer literate (e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel) and able to pick up new concepts
- Able to work collaboratively within the team to deliver on accountabilities and responsibilities
